Mt. Malipunyo: Itinerary and Expenses

Last Sunday, I went with our group, Nasugbu Adventure Club and some friends to hike Mt. Malipunyo in the Malarayat Range in Batangas.  My last hike (excluding Batad) was in March, when I organized a fun climb to Mt. Pamitinan in Montalban, Rizal. Our climb took us 12 hours!

Our itinerary and expenses are as follows:

SG/MY Tour: Travelling from SG to Malaysia

On the 4th day of the epic SG/MY tour, we left Singapore to travel to Malaysia.  We have been reading that it would be much cheaper to go from SG to JB then to KL, instead of from SG to KL so we went that route.  From our hotel, we walked a few blocks to the bus terminal using our trusty GPS and boarded the bus that will take us to Johor Bahru. Fare was I think SG$ 3-5.
So what to expect:
  1. The travel from SG took maybe 40 minutes or 2 hours.  I can't actually remember! Hahaha.

SG/MY Tour: Singapore's Food

Other than site-seeing, we immensely enjoyed our tour in Singapore because of the delicious and yet cheap food that we got to experience.  So here are our dining experiences in Singapore, in the order that we had them:
1. Late lunch in Mustafa Center. Indian food, served by a Pinoy Cook. The food was hot, and spicy even for me.  And that order of rice that was said to be good for one was wayyyyy too much!  It fueled us in our longs walks during our city tour. Cost was arounf SG$15.
2. Dinner at one of the hawker centers near MBS after our Singapore City tour. It was hard to order because of the language barrier so we just had to point at what we wanted to order.  We ended up ordering these items as all the others were sold out. It was good.Costs around SG$5 per order.

For our 3rd day in Singapore for, we went for a cultural tour, naks! We went and visited the following places (I am just going to link relevant information from Wikipedia for further reading):
1. Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple-a Hindu temple in Serangon Road
2. Shree Lakshimanarayan  Temple-another Hindu temple in Chander Road. Notice the colorful house? We passed by houses like these in Little India on the way to the temple.

SG/MY Tour: Sentosa Island and Universal Studios

For our second day in Singapore, we woke up early to go to Sentosa Island and Universal Studios. Ticket to Sentosa Island costs SG$5 with one way skyride. We didn't buy any other tickets to other attractions as we already pre-paid our tickets to Universal Studios (SG$65).

So, I am so busy at work I don't have time to write about my travels for the month. So I decided to just write a round-up of the happenings this month:

First, we had a company offsite planning in Plantation Bay in Cebu:

Then we had an epic Batad-Sagada-Baguio trip!

I hope to be able to write about these travels soon!
