Staycation: Oakwood Premier, Joy Nostalg Center Manila

Last December, I bought from a friend a voucher for an overnight stay at a one-bedroom deluxe at Oakwood Premier in Pasig. It was expiring by the end of the month, and there were no other takers so I was able to buy it for a ridiculously low price of P2,500, with buffet breakfast for 2! The published rates for local residents are P9,000+++. But you can buy for Agoda from P6901++, room only. So, it was steal!

So, check in was at 2pm and a refundable deposit of P2,000 was required. We were given wifi passwords good for 4 devices, but the reception gave me another password when I asked for more (since we have more than 4 devices between us!). Parking was free at the basement as well. Then we went up to our room.  The kids squealed with delight at the beautiful room.

It was a full-service apartment, and we had the following amenities in the room: 3 TVs (one in the master, one in the living area and one in the bathroom), a microwave oven, dishwasher, bread toaster, oven, refrigerator, rice cooker, washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. Yes, my mom opened all doors and crevices of the room, hahaha.

We went downstairs to check the indoor pool, all decked in blue, with underwater music, and a jacussi on the other end. Four guests in our room had access to the pool and you bet we had fun! There was a sauna inside the shower room but we didn't have time to try it anymore.

The room came with a buffet for 2 and my eldest son and I went down to check the spread. The food was okay, and there was a varied selection as well. My son had a grand time and had three servings, hahaha.

It was indeed a very, very nice staycation and I am afraid all of our future staycations will fall short of our experience at Oakwood Premier! We were all actually sad to go, but I told my kids there is always a next time!

So, I highly recommend Oakwood Premier for a family staycation.  At P9,000 or at P6,000 if thru Agoda, it is definitely worth your money!

How to go to Oakwood Premiere:
The hotel is just infront of ADB in Ortigas.  You can take the bus to Robinsons Galleria and exit at the San Miguel exit and walks toward Podium. The hotel is just infront.
